6 TopicsCannot delete ReadyDr Share /Disk space utilisation
I have previously setup a ReadyDR job (local to local i.e. within the same Readynas) to test the process, I subsequentley deleted the job and then tried to delete share created by the ReadyDR job. The deletion of the share failes with the error message 'Cound not delete share due to snapshot deletion failure' Code 1004030000. I also have other ReadyDr jobs that are running sucessfully between this ReadyNas 516 and a ReadyNas 2100 (destination) but what I am noticing is that the free space on the ReadyNas 516 (source) is being reduced by 0.01 TB each day. There currently is not a signiticant amount of change on the systyem and I am concerned that the ReadyDR jobs are generating additional consuption of disk space. Any suggestions on 1) Removing the share and 2) on disk space utilisation. Currently running firmaware, 6.6.0 on both devices.Solved4.8KViews0likes5CommentsPurchased 12TB ReadyNas 214, only seeing 8TB available.
I purchased the 12TB model of NETGEAR ReadyNAS 214, 4x3TB Desktop (RN214D43-100NES) on Amazon, but I only appear to be getting 8TB, and I'm wondering if they sent me the wrong model? See "data 8.17 free of 8.17" In "Volumes", the display on the right indicates I DO have 4x3TB (which should = 12TB), but the display on the left still shows only 8.17 TB available. Is this a result of RAID 5 and all is normal? Or is something wrong? Where are are my other 4TBs? I'm on a Macbook using OS X Yosemite 10.10.5, and firmware 6.4.1. Thanks in advance for any help! ParkerSolvedAfter update RN102 from 6.2.5 to 6.4.0 it sends mail with root usage 86%
I've updated my ReadyNAS and now i get mail notifications that the root usage is 86%. I think it isn't true beause the data storage has over 700GB free space and /dev/md0 has 2.4GB free space. What's wrong? Where can I find the reason for that message? ssh cmd: df - h /var Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on tmpfs 10M 4.0K 10M 1% /dev /dev/md0 4.0G 1.4G 2.4G 36% / tmpfs 249M 44K 249M 1% /dev/shm tmpfs 249M 1.5M 248M 1% /run tmpfs 249M 0 249M 0% /sys/fs/cgroup tmpfs 249M 0 249M 0% /media /dev/md127 927G 127G 799G 14% /Daten /dev/md127 927G 127G 799G 14% /home /dev/md127 927G 127G 799G 14% /apps /dev/md127 927G 127G 799G 14% /run/nfs4/home2.8KViews0likes6CommentsQbittorrent problems
Hey guys, Got into trubles with Qbittorrent client. After downloading a folder with movie, the storage went into redundant cloning of folder inside folder (f. ex. Folder: Movie1/Movie.mp4;Movie1/Movie.mp4;Movie1/...) until I got an error message of decreasing free storage space. After removing the root folder and disabling qbittorent I did not get my free space back. I have logged through SSH checked every single folder with "du" and the root with "df". No problems detected and the overall file size is as it should be except total counter shown by ReadyNAS. Does anyone has any advice or recommendations? I do really not want to reformat all 3TB of data... Cheers!SolvedPerformance/Admin Page Access - Does available disk space affect access to the ReadyNas
Hey All, System Details: ReadyNas 104 - Current OS: 6.2.5 4x3TB Seagate (8.17 TB Available - currently 550 GB free) Network a mix of Win 7 Pro/Ult SP1 and Win 10 Pro devices Networked through Linksys router and switches throughout. The ReadyNAS 104 has recently been having issues where the device becomes unresponsive (Slow accessing the Admin Page, Music playing, through network share using Window Media Player, seems to be "skipping" on local network.). The system seems to be fine after a reboot (and even then, had to unplug to get to reboot) but it eventually over time starts to show the above characteristics. At first I thought it might have been the OS so reverted back to 6.2.4 but the issues seems to return. Went back to 6.2.5 and again, same issues. So my question is does the available disk space affect the network performance? I haven't ran a scrub or defrag yet but am a bit concerned about data loss. I know the party line will be "backup before doing anything..." ...typical CYA move but finding 7+ TB of backup space...not going to happen. Is there a "safe" percentage of disk space that should be available for scrub/defrag? In addition, can I send log files to see if there is something else that could be an issue (i.e. SAMBA - noted some error items in logs =============================================================== [2015/09/09 06:17:56.684266, 0] ../lib/util/fault.c:79(fault_report) INTERNAL ERROR: Signal 11 in pid 30714 (4.2.0) Please read the Trouble-Shooting section of the Samba HOWTO [2015/09/09 06:17:56.825187, 0] ../lib/util/fault.c:81(fault_report) =============================================================== )?
