Hi, Once and a while I get problems with Subsonic, these few weeks it worked fine and then it stopped working I couldn't get the Subsonic page anymore, the refused page came up. I couldn't get it worked again I checked for areas that may cause problems but I couldn't find any, so I uninstalled it. Next I find that the App is no more on Apps List in both areas so I went to search on the internet the App, and found "subsonic-6.0.deb" and installed it, I got the "Application subsonic is installed successfully" message but I couldn't find the App on the App list, where its gone? I also tried the beta version and the same thing happens. I checked on ReadyNas Drive eg. \\xxxxx\data\.apps\.freeapps and \\xxxxx\data\.apps but there is no "subsonic" directory. I can't install subsonic app at all, it worked fine before but nothing. I also updated my ReadyNAS 102 to firmware 6.7.0, to see if I could get it to work but didn't help. Sal.Developer request: SubSonic 6.0 package for ReadyNAS OS 6.0
Dear ReadyNAS developers, First of all many thanks for contributing to the Netgear ReadyNAS community! I have been using the Subsonic 4.9 package (made by Super_poussin) for the ReadyNAS OS 6.0 with pleasure but would very much like to upgrade to the new version 6.0 Would it be possible for anyone of you to make a new package of SubSonic 6.0, which I can install on my RN102 (ARM) box? I would very much appreciate it. Sincerly yours, Fremske link to SubSonic 6 repo: http://www.subsonic.org/pages/download.jspSolvedHow to access SSH after EnableSSH is installed?
I have a ReadyNAS Pro Business edition running RAIDiator 4.2.27. I had subsonic 4.7 running (from super-poussin) on it and upgraded to 5.1. I've noticed two problems after that that I'm trying to resolve: 1. for some reason, I have to restart the subsonic process each day (it use to remain running 24x7) 2. Subsonic no longer transcodes flac (or anything else). Btw, I have ffmpeg v1.3 installed from super-poussin as well, and it worked fine with v4.7 After reading a little about it, I thought that maybe the ffmpeg transcoder is not in the location where subsonic is looking for it. I thought to verify this, then upon verification, move ffmpeg to the \subsonic\transcode subdirectory, which is the directory tha tthe subsonic log file references when I try to play a flac file that it needs to transcode. I installed EnableSSH v1.0 successfully (no errors), but cannot find how to access it to check it out further. I don't know linux, which is probably a key problem, but I'm asking for help here because I've run out of guesses. For example, I tried logging in to Frontview using root and the password for the admin account - no go. Is telnet what you use? Google brought back a cygwin product which I installed to no avail - it installed nothing but a shell, and made great references to all the stuff you can install - no go. Help is much appreciated. for some reason subsonic stopped working, admin page not working, and I need to remove it. when removing from apps page it hags a bit then refreshes and app still shows installed. will deleting (or renaming) the app/subsonic directory then restarting NAS (readnas 314) force the system to treat it as uninstalled thereby letting me install fresh? I think it happened due to me trying to manually update to latest version and somehow messing that up. another oddity, even though it shows installed it ALSO shows under available apps and clicking install creates 2 entries under instaled app section, and none of them actually work.
