I have a netgear ReadyNas Ultra 4. It's been working like a charm until a couple of days ago. At first i thought it was the nas itself as i could not access the nas through Explorer from any of the two PCs i tried. Accessing it through anything else than the Explorer works fine (like android file browser / or some streaming service) I've read some threads telling users to turn off and on the CIFS, did this but with no luck. I even went as far as to do a factory reset. As it still did not fix the problem I started realizing it might not be the NAS at all. I found my old laptop with win7 and tried to connect with that one. It worked. Now I've had win10 for a long time, so why it happened just now i'm not sure about. It might be an update? Or some settings to the network sharing or something that made it fail? I found a thread that seemed to be the same problem (about a year old), but I get access denied when trying to "Go to solution" on that one. For the record there are NO passwords or usergroups added to the NAS. It is open for all on the network (closed LAN without internett access). Does anyone know what i can do to regain access to the nas through my win10 PCs? Thanks in advance!Solved
