How do you do DHCP reservation on a WN203?
I have just started configuring my new WN203 to replace the wireless part of an older Bell ConnectionHub. I've gotten past the initial stuff and assigned a DHCP address range for the new WN203 pool, but I can't see how to associate a specific address with a specifc wireless device. In case this isn't clear, let me offer an example. When a wireless camera is assigned an address from the AP, let's say its 192.168.2.220, I need it to always get that in future so I can map that address externally. In the ConnectionHub this is straight forward, there are two things to do. Assign 220 to the MAC address, and then put a new entry in a port forwarding table to say what external address corresponds. I'm thinking that the AP has a reservation capability I haven't found, but the port forwarding needs to occur at the router level.Solved4.5KViews0likes5Comments
