Hi all, This will happen when you try to install on os 6.6.0 (x86) Wed Oct 26 2016 1:26:46 Cannot install application plexmediaserver-ros6-binaries_1.2.3.2914-1ff0f18_amd64.deb. Oct 26 01:24:37 xxx-xxx-xxx readynasd[3620]: ResetFailedUnit: GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.systemd1.NoSuchUnit: Unit fvapp-plexmediaserver.service is not loaded. 1.2.2 installed perfectly... Ideas? No help at PLEX either: Link to Thread on PLEX forums. Short and closed. Wich logs do you need? Could it be right or something else? The thing is that PLEX 1.2.2 works and installed fine. I recently acquired an Ultra 6 Plus, which I upgraded to OS 6, FW 6.4.1, for use in backups. The Power Timer function (which I liked better in the old NV+ models, since I could specify minutes) turns the U6+ off, but does not turn it on. I'm currently using a cron entry on my DD-WRT router to do a WOL job to turn the U6+ on at the specified time (3:50am). Needless to say, it's a fix smacking of Rube Goldberg, though not as good as the one in this simple alarm clock (No, this is NOT my proposed fix, perfume is expensive, and so are cannonballs). Hardware: ReadyNAS Ultra 6 Plus Firmware: 6.4.1 Time: correct Power Timer: currently 2am to 11am (so I can verify it turned on for to do backups, will shorten to 6 or 7am when assured of regular backups) Backup jobs: currently 4am to 6am (rsync pulls) WOL: enabled DD-WRT router cron WOL job: 3:50AM Ay suggestions on how I can fix this? I'm willing to SSH in if need be, but not completely comfortable in linux. -kevinb1 (formerly imsai on infrant/netgear, how do I change my handle back?) P.S. I'm also getting fan underspeed warnings, but one thing at a time....SolvedConfiguration issue with ReadyNAS Ultra 2 Plus on OS 6.2.4
I just upgraded my ReadyNAS Ultra 2plus (x86) from OS 4.2.27 to OS 6.2.4. And Yes, I do know this is not supported by Netgear. I followed the instructions from a previous thread posted on 4/1/2013 R4toR6_Prep_Addon.bin (26 KB) (upload first, don't reboot, avoids the need for manual factory default in between) R4toR6_6.1.9.bin (51.8 MB) (upload after addon) Everything worked fine and the system appears to be running fine, except one small issue. When I view the configuration under "System" then "Volumes", I see the wrong image of my ReadyNAS hardware. What I am getting looks like a Rackmount picture when I am using a Desktop Ultra 2 plus. See below: The picture configuration is correct on the "System" then "Overview" screen. Did I do something wrong? Is there a way to correct this? For now I have two new 6TB drives installed with no data on them yet. Hoping for a quick good answer.Solved8.2KViews0likes4Comments
