2 Modems with same MAC address
I am wondering if anyone can help me! On January 27, 2020, I purchased a renewed Netgear Cable Modem from Amazon. I ran into a problem where COMCAST says that my MAC address is the same as another COMCAST customer. I reached out to COMCAST, and they said they couldn't register that MAC address on my account because the other customer already has it on their account. I then reached out to AMAZON, and they said I should contact the manufacturer if they couldn't help me to contact them again. I contacted Netgear and they said that since my modem was refurbished they could not help me.
Does anyone know what i can do to get this resolved? Any ideas? Tips? Tricks? I really liked this modem and just want to work again.
I miss the internet lollll
