Nighthawk AC1900 C7000 V2 keeps resetting to factory settings, wiping out my Wi-Fi settings (network names and passwords) when there is a power glitch. All security cams, ring doorbell, nest, garage door are lost to remote access. I am away during summer in Florida when power glitch happens. I installed an APC UPS 1500VA Battery Backup and Surge Protection to try to stop this. In September, it happened again. I can’t fix it until I return to Florida. Very frustrating. Is there a modem/wifi that won’t do this or another method to protect it? Is there a way to remote access the router to reconfigure it?

I've never had a modem/router reset to factor after power glitches. I've read of it but never had it happen. Could be a unit with bad memory or something corrupt in it.
Might be time to upgrade to a newer device. The next gen CAX30/80 are pretty solid and a bump up in performance from the C7000
