AC3200 WiFi Cable Modem Router Model C7800 - use as AP mode only
I had fiber internet installed today. The service provides its own router (with ONT connection) and wifi. However, the wifi signal is moderate at best. I'd like to use my netgear equipment for wifi instead. The service provider router has ports I can plug into. Not sure how to proceed.

It should be noted that this guide needs to be followed exactly!
If you don't restart between setting static IP and disabling DHCP, it wont work.
This troubled me for many hours.

If you set the static IP and then disable DHCP server all in one application, does work. Did for me when I check on my C7800...
