C6250EMR port forwarding - limit on Internal IP address

Hey, 

 

I am a novice trying to set up a Minecrafter server for my kid. 

I tried to set up port forwarding on 25565 port but the internal IP address specifying the service device is locked so I can only edit the last digi section out of the four standard sections. 

This means that I cannot enter the proper target internal IP address. 

Any clues ?

Hi @UKH, does it show on that same page a table of connected devices where you can choose from?

   Is that modem+router the only piece of routery equipment which is

   No, you omitted practically all the interesting facts.

   That should be the only part of that address ("octet") which you
should need to change.

   What is the (LAN) IP address of the system where the Minecraft server
would be running?


   What do you believe is "the proper target internal IP address" which
you want to specify in your port-forwarding rule?

 

   As usual, reporting the actual data involved (like actual IP
addresses) would be more helpful than your analysis of the problem
("cannot enter the proper target internal IP address").
