Unable to connect my C7000v2 device to my spectrum modem to use as a router. Already have had modem inspected by spectrum and it is working properly. Nighthawk App is saying there are “issues” with my network. It appears as an available option but not able to connect to internet. Please help. Thank you!
The C7000 series devices have two functional modes. One is a combination modem/router device and the other is a modem only. Both receive input through the coax connection. They do not have a router only option.

Can use the modem in gateway mode or in modem mode only:

Re: C7000v2 Unable to Connect to Spectrum Modem (plan to use only as router)
What modem do you have from spectrum?
They've been giving out modem only devices and combo devices.
Some of the combo devices are pretty solid and the C7000 is getting quite old/behind in the times.
Their device might work better than the C7000 does. Tough to know without knowing what actual spectrum devices you have.
