C7000v2 looking to extend network to detatched garage
I am trying to find a way to get a wired internet connection to my detached garage which is about 100 feet away. I can get a coax cable in there but am not sure if there is a way to use that to extend my network.
The c7000v2 is what I currently use for my internet
So if the modem is in the house and you need services at the garage, CAT6A STP lan cabling from the modem to the garage would be recommended, then install a wireless Access Point unit in the garage for wifi services. Any additional LAN ports on the AP could be used for wired devices.

Thankyou for the advice, is there a wireless access point that would be better than others or something that it needs to have to be compatible with the c7000.
No. If you're using moca adapter to connect the 2 locations, you can choose whichever access point you'd like.
If you've already got coax ran that distance, you could always use a MoCa adapter. The new version 2.5 versions have pretty solid throughput and would let you put an access point in the garage.
