CAX80 Connectivity Issues

Netgear CAX80 device has been having issues for two weeks now. Network drops happening nearly every day. Called my ISP and it's not on their end. Power cycling does not resolve the issue, factory reset resolves it temporarily. My device has the most recent firmware, 2.1.5.2. It's been for about 10 months, the problems started around 2 weeks ago and I've seen two other posts on here regarding the same device and same problem. I've noticed that my power light will blink for a while prior to the network drop. The documentation says that indicates firmware corruption. I know the issue is not the ISP as both of the other posts have different providers, this is clearly an issue with NETGEAR pushing a buggy firmware

Re: CAX80 Connectivity Issues

Please post a copy and paste of the modems connection status and event log page.

Have the ISP check the signal and line quality UP to the modem. Be sure the ISP provisions the modem correctly.
Be sure there are no coax cable line splitters in the between the modem and ISP service box.
Be sure your using good quality RG6 coax cable up to the modem.
Start with removing any amplifiers, signal attenuators, or splitters from the coax.
From there check the line for kinks, damage, moisture in the line.
Check the connectors for improperly made ends, foil touching the copper coax line, loose connections, bad/old/cheap connectors, or corroded connections. Replace them if you do.
Be sure to power OFF the modem for 1 minute then back ON.

What channels are you using? Auto? Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and 40 to 48 channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?

Re: CAX80 Connectivity Issues

I cannot post event logs for two reasons, it clears logs when I press the factory reset button and the modem/router is currently in an endless state of trying to boot so I'm unable to even get into the admin interface via Ethernet. It's done this three times now: the network will drop so I will power cycle, it will start with the power LED, then all 3 LEDs below it (downstream upstream online) will turn on and alternate blinking along with the power LED (aka power, other 3, power, other 3), it will do this about 10 times then those 4 will turn off and the Ethernet channels 1-4 will turn a pinkish color for a few seconds (I believe this is a reboot signal, I've seen it from my ISP and when I trigger a reboot via the interface), and then repeat. It usually resolves after a few hours and everything is fine for a day or two then it starts all over, has been happening for like two weeks
