CAX80 Died after 9 months of use
My GF's CAX80 dies after exactly 9 months of use.
When we came home from breakfast this morning, only the power LED was lit. I tried all of the reset options mentioned in other threads, and none of them worked.
I have sent a PM asking for help, as suggested in another thread.
I am really disappointed that a product that cost almost $400, doesn't even work for a full year, without having a significant problem.

You'll need to wait for the moderators to contact you or open up a support ticket here:

Nothing else we can help with here in the forums.
Good luck.

Re: CAX80 Died after 9 months of use
I did as suggested, and after sending me a RMA link, NetGear cancelled my case and says they will not honor the warranty because the unit was not purchased from an authorized reseller. I bought it from Amazon, and it is still within the 12 month warranty period.
I am out almost $400, because NetGear refuses to properly honor their warranty.

Re: CAX80 Died after 9 months of use
I just received a followup, and was issued yet another RMA number. I have completed the form, and send the unit off to the facility in TN.
Hopefully this works.
