CM1000-100NAS Suddenly Not Connecting
We have a CM1000-100NAS Netgear Cable Modem that we connected with Xfinity in May of 2021 with some normal outages, but no ongoing issues. Suddenly, for the last 4-5 days, we have had outages for 2 hours or more. We've contacted Xfinity and someone is coming out on Wednesday, but my husband works from home and we need it up and running! Every time we reboot the modem it stops at the "upstream" light and just blinks and blinks for about 5 minutes before starting at the top light again, getting down to upstream and getting stuck once again.
Has anyone ever had this happen? We purchased this modem in Sept of 2020 for almost $200 so it seems unlikely that it would just suddenly stop working like this. I've tried to open a ticket with NetGear but it just keeps coming up with an error and telling me to try again later.
Thanks in advance for any help or advice!

What is the brand and model of the host wifi router connected to the modem?
Please post a copy and paste of the modems connection status page.
Have the ISP check the signal and line quality UP to the modem. Be sure the ISP provisions the modem correctly.
Be sure there are no coax cable line splitters in the between the modem and ISP service box.
Be sure your using good quality RG6 coax cable up to the modem.
Be sure to power OFF the modem for 1 minute then back ON.
