CM1000 No Internet

Hello, over the past few weeks there have been multiple Xfinity internet outages and currently there is no outage but Xfinity is stating the problem is with my modem. I’m extremely suspicious due to the constant outages and I’ve never had any problems previously. I have tried to attach the even log if that helps?

Re: CM1000 No Internet

Is there a different way to attach the event log? Photo file is too large and can’t upload from my PC due to no internet.

Re: CM1000 No Internet

Please post a copy and paste of the modems connection status page.
Have the ISP check the signal and line quality UP to the modem. Be sure the ISP provisions the modem correctly.
Be sure there are no coax cable line splitters in the between the modem and ISP service box.
Be sure your using good quality RG6 coax cable up to the modem.
Be sure to power OFF the modem for 1 minute then back ON.

Just copy and paste the text portions from the event and Connection status pages here in the post box. Will look similar to this:

Re: CM1000 No Internet

Need the cable connection status page as well.

You have criticals on the events page. Something your ISP needs to look into.

Re: CM1000 No Internet

Try borrowing a laptop/pc/table.

The full event logs and the cable connections page allow us to better check your connection to give you hints/tips that might help.

You can use screensnip in windows so we can get a decent view of it.

Re: CM1000 No Internet

You have errors in your line and connection issues in your logs.

Start with removing any amplifiers, signal attenuators, or splitters from the coax.
From there check the line for kinks, damage, moisture in the line.
Check the connectors for improperly made ends, foil touching the copper coax line, bad/old/cheap connectors, or corroded connections. Replace them if you do.
If you can, simply connect the modem right where the coax comes into the home. This prevents wiring in the home from being the issue. And some ISP’s charge if the wiring issue is in the home. So this helps prevent this.

If that doesn't help, the ISP needs to check the line.
