CM2000???
I was recently looking at the spectrum and cox approved list, and there is a Netgear CM2000 listed with a 2.5GBps ethernet port on it. I am wondering where I can obtain the CM2000 or if it is a future product, or what the deal is...
Thanks

Re: CM2000???
It hasn't been released/anounced yet.
And netgear doesn't release dates because so much depends on the ISP certification which is taking forever.

Re: CM2000???
Might just be finishing testing. they need to be certified and then tested to ensure they work with them for the auto-activation.

product is certified by 3 biggies. It is going to our validation process.

Re: CM2000???
Let's go Netgear!!! Communicate to your customers when the CM2000 cable modem will be released!!!!
XFinity already has it on their compatibility list for Gigabit speed supported cable modems.

Re: CM2000???
You don't need a CM2000 modem for 1Gig connections. There are other model modems that handle 1Gig connections.

Re: CM2000???
I know I know. I started out on a 14.4 dialup modem. I think I still have it somewhere. Ah the good ole days.

Re: CM2000???
I had a 286, mono card and two 20Mb HDDs.
The CM1100 is a good modem. I love the dual WAN ports. It allows me to have two routers connected. The CAX80 does as well.

Re: CM2000???
I wondered if the CM1200 on another ISP would allow the other ports to be enabled. I have a 1200 as well but didn't get a chanced to try the other ports. I know the CM1100 and CAX80 work on Sparklight.
