I thought I forgot my username and password for the router network. However after I had clicked to reset them. I remembered what they were. Now I cannot get back to my nighthawk network login page. I'm stuck on the reset page.
What is "the reset page"?
If you are talking about the username and password for the browser graphical user interface, and not the wifi or the Internet, when you reset the CAX80, you put it back to the original password. (The user name, admin, is the same because you can't change it.)
You now have to set up the modem/router from scratch.
While many questions about routers are generic and could be answered anywhere, some things need specialist knowledge.
You might get more help, and find earlier questions and answers specific to your device, in the appropriate section for your hardware. That's probably here:
Cable Modems & Gateways - NETGEAR Communities
You might like to search there for messages related to your problem.
I will ask the Netgear moderator to move your message.
In the meantime you could visit the support pages:
Support | NETGEAR
Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware. Look at the label on the device for the model number.
Check for various troubleshooting tips.
You may have done this already. I can't tell from your message.
I mention it because Netgear stopped supplying printed manuals and CD versions some years ago and people sometimes miss the downloads.

I think you mean to reset the admin password. You can't change the "admin" bit.
As you have reset the device, it is probably trying to be helpful and take you through the setup process.
Over the years, in the name of security Netgear has become more prescriptive in those password requirements.
Have you tried just feeding in your previous password as the new password?
If it objects give it a new password and see what happens.

You may need to clear the cache on the web browser you are using. Alternatively on a temporary basis, you may have to use a different web browser entirely.

Your first message said:
after I had clicked to reset them. I remembered what they were.
I took that to mean that you clicked the reset button.
If your pressed the button but changed your mind, you were probably too late. It reset itself.
You could also clear the cache on whichever browser you used to see if that helps.
Or try aiming your browser at the IP address:
