How to open ports

So I recently got Arlo and realized that the internet light is amber, which mean that there is no internet connection. I contacted support and they told me that I needed to open up ports 80, 123, and 443. I checked everywhere and I can't find how to open those ports up. I called for netgear support and he redirected me to arlo support, which did not help at all since arlo does not manage opening ports. After all this I decided to come to the community to see if some experts could help me with this, does anyone know how to open ports?

Re: How to open ports

Yes you put the same number in both ports not sure what you mean with opening a port to Netgear.com and yes you put the Ip of the basestation.

Hello Duufhfj

Here is a article on how to port forward on Netgear routers.

Re: How to open ports

Thanks for the answer, but I am still confused

If I am only opening one port, I just put the same number for both ports right?

Also, If I am trying to open the port to Netgear.com, where do I put that in?

And for Internal IP, what do I put? IP for the arlo basestation?
