NEED HELP Netgear C7000v2 - Constant internet drops
I am at a crossroads with these internet drops that happen when using my router. I live in PA and use Xfinity(Comcast) as my provider with their fastest speed plan. I have been using a Netgear C7000v2 for 3-4 years now and have never had issues. I recently moved to PA from NJ this past January. I have noticed that recently more than ever I am experiencing these quick little internet drops. It’s not an outage for long but it happens several times a day. My router is updated to the most recent firmware and runs amazing. I’ve had Xfinity out because I swore it was something wrong with the Coax cable. They came out and only checked on the outside wires and told me everything was “all good” on their end and that I would need to contact Netgear. I’m wondering if this is an issue with my provider or Netgear. I’ve attached screenshots of my logs so you can see the frequent disconnects. Thanks!

Re: NEED HELP Netgear C7000v2 - Constant internet drops
the Event logs and the cable connections page are what help us the most.
But there's a few things you can start with.
Start with removing any amplifiers, signal attenuators, or splitters from the coax.
From there check the line for kinks, damage, moisture in the line.
Check the connectors for improperly made ends, foil touching the copper coax line, loose connections, bad/old/cheap connectors, or corroded connections. Replace them if you do.
If you can, simply connect the modem right where the coax comes into the home. This prevents wiring in the home from being the issue. And some ISP’s charge if the wiring issue is in the home. So this helps prevent this.
