NETGEAR Genie doesn't open properly C6900

When I tried to open the NETGEAR Genie app on my Win10 PC, I got the splash screen but then nothing happened. I opened Task manager and Genie doesn't even show as running. I repeated this several times before reinstalling the program--no difference. The splash screen shows for 10 seconds then nothing. The websites don't work either (even after I cleared out my internet cache).

 

After looking through the NETGEAR site, I downloaded the Nighthawk app. The app doesn't support my router C6900/AC1900.

 

How can I access my router?
