Netgear C6900 as Router only
Hi
Can the Netgear AC 1900 Wifi Cable Modem Router Model C6900 be used as a router - only. My current ISP insists on getting a modem from them. I want to know if i can use C6900 as the router alone. I do see the modem does not have a separate WAN port. It does have 4 LAN ports. I see that it is possible to use it as Modem only

Is it possible to use it as Router only ??

Re: Netgear C6900 as Router only
There's a work around to make it function as a type of access point (not router) by setting it with a static ip address and disabling dhcp on it. Again, it won't work as a router only
