Network switched
I've set-up my own home hetwork for both 2.4 and 5.0 GHZ. Sometimes they will fail and there is no way for me to access the router wireless. So, I reset the router and/or power it down and it will work or sometimes not. If it doesn't I'll have to get my laptop out and hardwire it to the router. What I will find out is that the network has been changed to "Netgear75" with its own password. I then change it back to my own network and remove the Ethernet cable - it works again. How can I avoid that in the future?

Re: Network switched
Hello Dknaggert
Sounds like the unit keeps factory resetting I would check the power strip its plugged into make sure its getting a good power source if it keeps doing it you may want to contact Netgear support if its under warranty.
