Problems with AC1600 upstream blinking light
Hi!
I have the AC1600 Netgear modem/wifi router with Cox Communications internet.
Multiple times a day, I'm having to reset my router because the upstream arrow begins blinking green at random times. Generally while I'm playing games. I've verified the coax and other cables are not frayed and are tightened.
Need to know what to do about this as it doesn't seem to be an ISP issue. I've had the modem about 10 months and it has become more frequent as of recent times.
Thanks

Re: Problems with AC1600 upstream blinking light
When the upstream arrow is blinking it usually means you have partial upstream service. Next time you're getting this happening, take a screen shot of the modem connections (both upstream and downstream) and a capture of the logs.
Have you checked your connections for corrosion, bad splitters, amplifiers, etc.
