Re: Router not sending a signal
- what modem do you have?
- what router do you have?
- what firmware is on the router?
- when wifi goes down, do wired devices still work?
- when it goes down, what happens with the leds on the router?
details are key to helping.

Re: Router not sending a signal
Did you push and hold the wifi on/off button?
Or try a factory reset?

Re: Router not sending a signal
Do you have the RAXE500? (axe11000 isn't a model, its a speed)
What firmware version is on it?
What modem/gateway is it connected to? You gave a brand name and not a model

Re: Router not sending a signal
"up to date" might not be accurate. Its why we ask for a firmware version.
Also, we still don't know what modem/gateway it is. Look at the label for it and it'll give you a model number.

Re: Router not sending a signal
1. there's newer firmware. 1.0.12.96 https://www.netgear.com/support/product/raxe500.aspx#download
2. That modem you have it connected to? Its not just a modem. its a modem router combo device and causes a double nat.
A double nat happens when you cascade more than 1 router.

Fixes? There’s 3 options but only use 1.
1. Put the modem/gateway in modem only/pass through mode. This disables its routing functions.
2. Leave the modem/gateway in router mode but put the Netgears IP address into its DMZ. This forwards the data to the netgear. You can either leave the modem/gateway’s wireless enabled or disabled. Just make sure its using a different wifi channel to prevent interference
3. Put the Netgear into access point mode. This disables its routing functions. Wifi/ethernet still works but it does disable some features.
