Setting Up Home Network With FIOS Router, Netgear 8 Port Switch, and
Hivemind - trying to set up a home network. I have a FIOS cable modem/ WIFI, a Netgear 8 Port managed switch and a Nighthawk WIFI router in another room that I would like to network. The FIOS router is assigning addresses in 192.168.1.x range but the 2nd WIFI is sending out addresses in 10.0.0.x. I can't get that second WIFI to fall into the range of the FIOS network. I've deselected using that router as a DHCP server and tried to set a static address for it but it gives me a WAN address error. Help!

Put the netgear in access point mode. Then it'll get ip addresses from the fios router.
