Why can I NOT find Advanced settings Netgear C6230?

Been everywhere and cannot find out why I cannot see Advanced Tab when On my Netgear page online with Netgear Page or Nighthawk.  Im trying to find out why Online Internet Led light will not come on., and told I can test the lights thru Advance tab.

I have Internet service, but other devices cannot find Modem  (Nest, Alexa -Echo).

I may be using wrong words, but  is this my wifi is working, but internet cannot be reached?

Thank you for anyhelp.

And Yes. I have done all the reboots, connections check, etcnetgear light.jpg

What browser are you using? Try a different browser? MS Edge, Firefox or Opera?

What does the user manual say?

What CAT# LAN cable are you using between the modem and wired devices? CAT6 is recommended.

Please post a copy and paste of the modems connection status and event log page.

Have the ISP check the signal and line quality UP to the modem. Be sure the ISP provisions the modem correctly.
Be sure there are no coax cable line splitters in the between the modem and ISP service box.
Be sure your using good quality RG6 coax cable up to the modem.
Start with removing any amplifiers, signal attenuators, or splitters from the coax.
From there check the line for kinks, damage, moisture in the line.
Check the connectors for improperly made ends, foil touching the copper coax line, loose connections, bad/old/cheap connectors, or corroded connections. Replace them if you do.
Be sure to power OFF the modem for 1 minute then back ON.

Re: Why can I NOT find Advanced settings Netgear C6230?

I have tried Chrome, Safari, IE.

No splitters

Xfinity checked and found no issues. I have my own Netgear so they sent me to Netgear.

Did all the steps you mentioned.

When I go to routerlogin.net i do see my product, but nothing that leads me to the cable connection Info.  Then i get a message to confirm my email address. BUT I Do not get the confirmation email to confirm. Yikes.

and I have checked my spam folder.  This is all too much... do you think not confirming my email address does not allow me to see the connection details?

Re: Why can I NOT find Advanced settings Netgear C6230?

Stouldn't need to confirm any email verification to get into the modems web page with a web browser or after a factory reset and setup from scratch.

You could factory reset the modem disconnected of the ISP coax line and get in to the modems web pages.

Re: Why can I NOT find Advanced settings Netgear C6230?

Should be able to access the modems web page at 192.168.1.1, or .0.1 or 192.168.100.1 in a web browser...
