My router lost internet last night and it resets all properties to factory settings. Our network SSID's were rolled back to out of the box.
How do we prevent this from happening going forward?

I'm having same issue, SSID reset to factory settings when the modem lost internet from my ISP. Pain in the a$$. I don't see any firmware to update so not sure what to do. Help.

1. Please start your own thread if you have issues versus jumping on someone else's.
2. The ISP can trigger updates/resets remotely with combo devices. Larger firmware changes can require a reset and might be triggered by them.
3. you can't 100% because of #2

Re: c6900
This is the second time in a few weeks my ISP went out and my modem reset itself to out of the box settings. Every device in the home stops working when the modem rollsback to factory. What do I need to do to address this please? Thank you
