using a second wireless router as repeater/ap
C3700 v2 (modem plus router) as a Base and I want to use a R6120 (only router) as a repeater. could this be done? if so, how ?
My c3700 v2 is in the first floor and I want to use my R6120 as a repater (wireless) and put it in my second floor. Any thougths on how ? (I'm pretty new to this). Any suggestions?

The R6120 doesn't have repeater modem or WDS mode (wireless distribution system).
You could set it up as an access point. You'd need to hardwire it in. You could do it via ethernet, using a moca adapter, or using a powerline adapter.
