Aircard 790s - poor USB connection; not charging
I have a new Netgear Aircard; bought approx mid last year in readiness for a trip this year. I have just started using the modem and have used it intermittently for the past 8 weeks. The power cable does not fit the USB slot properly and constantly falls out. It takes a lot of fiddling to get the USB connection to register; and more fiddling to get it to start charging. And it has become worse over time. I have tried another charging cable and the same problem occurs.
I have never experienced a problem like this and am quite fed up; having a brand new product not work properly is extremely disappointing. How can this be fixed?

I have just found a similar post from 2017: ‘Charging problems with 790s’. This seems to be a known problem. What do you propose to do about this Netgear? I need a modem that works reliably.
