Connecting to M1 router issues

I recently purchased a new Netgear Nighthawk M1 mobile hotspot router and activated it on the ATT network with a new ATT SIM card. The router will connect to the ATT network, but when I try to connect a laptop or cellphone to the router, it connects and then redirects me to an ATT prepaid device activation web page. The router will show the device as connected but I do not have internet on the connected device. I tried calling ATT and 1 hr 20 minutes later still no fix. Anyone have this issue and if so what is the fix?!
