LM1200 Telstra 4G and Firewalla Gold
Hi, I'm trying to use the LM1200 as a 4G failover with my Firewalla Gold, which can handle the failover itself,
I'm doing this since we have no 4G signal inside the house, but have ethernet run to the verandah, so I can place the LM1200 on the verandah and send the failover internet to the FWG in the house.
The LM1200 works fine directly connected to my laptop, using either Bridge or DHCP mode, giving out either the ISP Assigned IP or the locally assigned IP, But when I connect the LM1200 LAN port using either mode to the 2nd WAN port on the FWG I configured, I can't get a successful internet connection
The FWG occasionally says theirs internet after completing it's regular ping tests but it drops out just as quickly, I can't run speed tests, connect to websites or anything useful
any ideas?
I'm using a Telstra 4G data only prepaid SIM plan

While many questions about routers are generic and could be answered anywhere, some things need specialist knowledge.
You might get more help, and find earlier questions and answers specific to your device, in the appropriate section for your hardware. That's probably here:
Mobile Routers, Hotspots & Modems
Those things are very different from the standard Netgear routers covered in this section.
I will ask the Netgear moderator to move your message.
In the meantime you could visit the support pages:
Support | NETGEAR
Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware. Look at the label on the device for the model number.
Check for various troubleshooting tips.
You may have done this already. I can't tell from your message.
I mention it because Netgear stopped supplying printed manuals and CD versions some years ago and people sometimes miss the downloads.
