Need Help Finding a Battery
Hello, I have been having an impossible time trying to locate a battery for my OLD MR5000.
Here are the specs on my old (still working) battery...
Model No: W-10a
Rating 3.85V 19.78Wh
Min Capacity 5040mAh
P/N: 308-10084-01
1ICP4/54/72-2
Rechargeable Li-ion battery
If anyone can locate such a critter, it would be highly appreciated.
Questions. What are the critical specs needed for the battery to work?
This battery is a simple rectangular shaped battery. I notice some of the newer (W-20) batteries have a protrusion, can that work?
I don't suppose this unit (MR5000) can run using an AC adapter\, thus bypassing the battery, like a Qualcomm 3.0?
Thanks again.

Re: Need Help Finding a Battery
Just a further update. The Battery I currently have is 'bloated' and I don't know haw many days it has left. If it goes Kapoot then my Netgear MR 5000 becomes worthless. I really need help on this one.
Thanks.

Re: Need Help Finding a Battery
Hi, thanks, if the 1ICP number and P/N number is different will it still work?

Ok, I went ahead and purchased the w-10a version of this battery because someone else recommended it as a compatible replacement, sooo, we’ll see 👁 👁.

Re: Need Help Finding a Battery
Thanks, but that battery did not work, it gave the 'invalid battery' message. 😞
