No 3G/4G internet after firmware update of R7100LG

I've just spent a whole day trying to figure out why my R7100G wont connect to the 3G / 4G network (EE sim).

Tried everything I can think of and have read online -

- upgraded to latest version and then factory reset.

- changed every combination of settings, in particular APN.

And the only thing that has fixed the problem is rolling back firmware to 1.0.0.72_1.0.6.

I just don't understand how this can be.  But seems such a common problem looking online.

Netgear, I have wasted a day of my life on this!  And your support is non existent.  Having spent allot of money on this router, I won't be buying Netgear again after this experience 🙁
