WLAN router with detachable antennas

Hello everyone,

I am looking for a WLAN router to connect mixing consoles and other things at events.

To get a long range, I would like to connect an external antenna (two pieces) via RP-SMA connectors.

Since I already have the Nighthawk M1, I would like to use a Netgear product again if possible.

Does Netgear offer anything here? Unfortunately, I haven't found anything suitable despite a lengthy search.

Thank you and best regards

Phillip

Re: WLAN router with detachable antennas

here's the problem. You add a bigger antenna that focus the connection. But it narrows where it focuses it. So if you have multiple area's to cover, it doesn't help. There's a much longer description here:

You might be better off switching to a mesh system versus trying to add bigger antennas
