D7000 and ReadyCLOUD?
http://kb.netgear.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/27647/related/1
The top of this article indicates ReadyCLOUD is available on the D7000. However, the list of supported routers only lists the R6400 and R7000. The D7000 is essentially the same as the R7000, only with a DSL modem.
Any indication on when this feature will be available?

Re: D7000 and ReadyCLOUD?
I can't see where the article indicates that ReadyCloud is available on the D7000.
At this time the only routers supported are the R6400 and R7000.

NB: A ReadyNas is not an excuse not to have a backup. Fire, theft, multiple disk failures, other hardware failure, floods, user negligence etc. can all result in loss of data.

Re: D7000 and ReadyCLOUD?
The article is FOR the D7000. See the top.
"NETGEAR Support / D7000 / How do I register my NETGEAR router with my ReadyCLOUD account?"
Regardless, how could it be available for the R7000 and not the D7000? Aren't they essentially the same router?

Re: D7000 and ReadyCLOUD?
Hello chuckd83
Mdgm is correct as of right now the ReadyShare cloud is only available on the R7000 and R6400 but you are still able to use the ReadyShare feature to share storage across your local network. But yes the D7000 is a R7000 with a DSL modem built into it just some features might be missing this could be addressed in a firmware update at a later time.

Re: D7000 and ReadyCLOUD?
Is there a place to submit firmware requests? This one should be simple to implement since the code is already written, right?

The best place to submit ideas to be added to the products is the idea exchange board
https://community.netgear.com/t5/Idea-Exchange-For-Home/idb-p/idea-exchange-for-home
Here people can kudo your idea about having it added to a product our engineers look at this board for new ideas to add to the products.
