Internet Disconnecting randomly

Hi,

I have an Orbu RBR50 connected to a DM200 in Modem Mode,

the internet connection was stable until last week when I updated the firmware on the RBR50. Now I get the internet disconnecting.

I have done a factory reset of the DM200 and updated the firm ware there but it is still disconnecting.

When it disconnects I plug a laptop into the modem and it gets the internet fine which leads me to suspect that the issue is between the Orbi and the modem.

I have looked at the log file on the Orbi and its not too helpful.

Anyone any suggestions of what to try?

Did you remember to put the DM200 back into modem only mode after the reset?

I've made that mistake in the past!

A reset turns router mode back on.

Where is the disconnection? Does the DM200 stay up?

Hi,

The DM200 is configured correctly and  it stays up.

I have tried 2 dsl modems with the same result.

This issue seems to have started after I updated the firmware to the latest verison.

Could be the Orbi firmware.

Tried asking about that in the Orbi section?
