I was moving around my modem today to turn on my printer and then suddenly the ethernet light started showing up solid red. I tried to turn off and on again, plug and unplug ethernet cord etc. However, still not working. Now I tried a factory reset however, it will not work and the ethernet light is still red...

The ethernet light the printer is connected to? 

Everything else is working on the router? 

Its just not the printer port? 

Did you try a different device? 

Or a different cable?
