Netgear D7000 AC1900 WiFi VDSL/ADSL readyshare issues

I can not connect to my connected hard drive using readyshare. I keep getting registation failure when I go through the process steps on the router home page. Reading this seems to be a common issue. Has anyone found a solution to the issue.

Tried a few of the other solutions posted on here change password to a simple combination. Reset router, copy and paste password but still no luck.

Can you take us through the steps you take and where they go wrong?

Start with the hard drive. What is it?

Is this a ReadyCloud connection?

Does the thing work with Basic?
