Hi 

Today I read that several netgear router models (including my Nighthawk D7000) are vulnerable to hackers and should not be used until an update is realesed

How long will this take?

Thanks michael for linking that KB the D7000 is not apart of this issue.

I don't think that was confirmed when that post arrived, nearly a week ago.

As your own notice has said, it was a false alarm that is still being perpetrated out in webland.

Indeed, I still see stuff out there with no acknowledgment that there has been a Netgear blitz on this issue, with a pile of new firmware available to fix it.
