Nighthawk D8500 "No Ethernet Cable Is Plugged into the Router Internet Port "
Model : D8500 Nighthawk AC5300
Firmware version : V1.0.3.43_1.0.1
I am using Nighthawk D8500 modem/router for almost 2 years now and it's working as expected. This morning it suddenly stop working due to Telstra Outage (Cyber attacked as I heard from the news). Telstra service was restored but my modem won't connect, I rebooted several times and even factory reset, still no luck.
After factory reset, I access the router using my PC via 192.168.0.1 and attempted to run setup wizard for me toconnect to telstra NBN, error message popup "No Ethernet Cable Is Plugged into the Router Internet Port" (see sreenshot attached)

Re: Nighthawk D8500 "No Ethernet Cable Is Plugged into the Router Internet Port "
I see no sign that you have actually turned the modem/router off at the mains.
It will have to negotiate a new connection with the Internet.
