Setting D6400 into Bridge Mode?

Hello. Does anyone have a link to a guide on how to set the D6400 into bridge mode? I have one D6400 connected to the internet in another room and a second one next to my PC in its room. I want to use the second one as a bridge so that I can connect it to the PC with an ethernet cable and still have the internet access of the first router. This is to allow me to use a VR headset with Virtual Desktop.

I have looked through the manual, but I can't see anything that explicitly tells me how to do this.

I sense that you mean wifi repeater mode rather than modem only mode. Both go under the "bridge mode" label. (There is at least one other"bridge mode" but we can ignore that here.)

Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware.

You may have done that already. I can't tell from your message.

The bad news is that the D6400 is not designed for wireless repeater mode. However, you can use it as a wireless access point (AP). To do that you wire one D6400 back to the other D6400. The manual explains how to do that.
