modem/router combo and orbi
I am looking to purchase an orbi rbk50 system. I already have a c6300 modem/router combo. Can I use orbi with my current combo? Or can I turn WiFi off of combo and use orbi as router?

Re: modem/router combo and orbi
You don't need to turn off the wifi, but the C6300 is a modem/router as you say. The Orbi is also a router.
To avoid headaches as to which is controlling the local addresses in your network, it could help to set the C6300 to modem only more, or the Orbi to access point mode.
There is a manual for the C6300 somewhere at the end of this link:
>>>> C6300 | Product | Support | NETGEAR <<<<
See the section Change the Router Mode.
The Orbi manual will tell you how to put that into Access Point mode.
