Re: Can't Upload Invalid Self Certificate
Hi dashwell,
Netgear supports 2048-bit SHA1 certificate not 2048-bit RSA certificate.
It might be that the certificate you got from Comodo is a 2048-bit RSA certificate. Kindly verify it.

Re: Can't Upload Invalid Self Certificate
I had the vendor reissue the certificate as a 2048 SHA1.
Now I get a new message.

Re: Can't Upload Invalid Self Certificate
Hi dashwell,
Let us verify a few things. Let me know if you have done the following below:
a. Did you have the self certificate request generated on the device?
b. Did it match the requests information exactly? This means if the country doesn't match, then it wont work.
c. Did the certifiate vendor (in this case, Comodo) gave you 2 files? Sometimes certificate vendors gives 2 files, in addition to the root CA cert, instead of just the certificate file and the root cert file, and they need to be combined together. That's easy to do in a text editor and just copy the one below the other with no line spacing, and rename the file to .crt extension.
I think it would be best for you to contact Netgear Support: http://support.netgear.com/general/contact/. Have a case number be logged regarding your concern so that you will be assisted over the phone and if necessary, have your concern be escalated to the engineering team. Please be reminded that you will be offered a support contract if ever your FVS336Gv3 is not within the support warranty.
