Is there a setting I need to configure to reach the 100Mbps speeds for file transfers between PCs on my LAN or to/from the Web (WAN)?
I've had this switch for many years (since new) with 6 Windows PCs connected via 100Mbps or 1G NICs and CAT5 cable (Windows Local Area Connection on each PC indicates "Speed: 100.0Mbps"). The FVS338's "100" indicators have always ON for both the "Internet" and each of the individual local port connections, but I've never been able to transfer any type of file faster than ~10Mbps. That goes for file transfers between any of the internal PCs (i.e., LAN) or from/to the internet (WAN).
I'm NOT using the FVS338's VPN or DHCP (all PCs have static internal IP addresses assigned).
The FVS338's running 3.1.1-08 firmware.
p.s. I searched the forum before posting here, but didn't see anything addressing this issue with the '338.
