Hello,
i have few M4300. I have configured AutoVoip for the telephones and telephone system. Everything works smoothly. Now I need to add a virtual server to the same VLAN as the phones. This server does not have a MAC address with the same OUI as the telephone hardware. Normally I would now add a port to which the VM is connected to the VLAN.
PVID: 50 - VLAN-Member: untagged.
This works for all other VLANs, but not for the VLAN that AutoVoip uses. When I try to add the port manually to VLAN 50, the following message appears:
VLAN participation change is not allowed on Auto-VoIP VLAN ( 50 )
How can I manually assign a port to an AutoVoip VLAN?
Since it is a VM, I cannot use the OUI from Hyper-V.
Thanks for your support

Re: VLAN configuration with active AutoVoip
Hi @BKarrenstein,
To accomplish this, you may want to manually tag all the phones in VLAN 50 and untag the VM (Virtual Server) and move away from using Auto-VoIP.
Kind regards,,
