used meural canvas - already registered to unknown pre-owner - what now?

Hi folks,
I bought a canvas of a used goods seller online which is registered to an unknown previous owner. How to process with this frame to on one hand use it on my end - and on the other lock out the previous owner? It's there a way to de-register the previous owner? Thanks!

Welcome to the NETGEAR Community!

I understand that you purchased a Meural Canvas for a online seller and would like to change the registration. However, the previous owner will need to deregister the device by doing the following:

• Navigate  to mynetgear.com
• Then click "View Product"
• Now click "Unregister Product" (Located at the bottom of the screen under "Data Links")

Thanks, though as written, the previous owner prior to the reseller is UNKNOWN.
what can be done about that without them?
