Netgear ready Nas RNDX 400E upward compatibikity
I have a readyNAS device model RNDX400E. Bought 10 years ago. I have 4 disks in it. It died on me. Is there a new model 4 disk readyNAS device someone can recommend where all My data disks will be upward compatible. If I plug out of my dead box and plug in a new one? If yes , Model no please?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Regrettable, no. Netgear switched to a different file system about 10 years ago.
If you were to get an x86 OS-6 ReadyNAS, then you could temporarily mount the data volume read-only, and offload data. But you won't find a new one, as Netgear seems to be "quiet-quitting" their storage business.
Do you have any familiarity with Linux? If so, do you have access to a linux system?
