Support and Support contracts
Hello,
We may be selling Netgear ReadyNAS 3200 machines to our customers. However we want to know how much Netgear support we can aspect when we are having troubles with these Nas.
We were thinking about the 3200 RN12P0610 model. Now my problem is I don't understand which service-contract would give us 24/7 support for 4 years and a replacement unit the next business day? Could anyone help with this please?

What is the difference in all these categories? And as said before, wich one do we have to choose for 3 years support?

Re: Support and Support contracts
Thanks for the welcome and the quick reply!
So when we buy the PMB0334 service contract we will have 3 years 24/7 support and (when needed) a replacement unit for the next business day? Or am I not reading correctly?

Re: Support and Support contracts
Next Business Day On-Site replacement for 3 years is standard on the 3200.
The PMB0334 service contract gets you 24/7 Phone Support for 3 years and the other features of a ProSupport contract. If you don't purchase a ProSupport contract you have basic free phone support for 90 days after purchase (see http://www.readynas.com/support)

Re: Support and Support contracts
Thanks again. All the different contracts and webpages were a bit confusing for me.

Re: Support and Support contracts
please be aware that the customer needs to buy and register those contracts, not the reseller.
they need to be activated (just buying them doesnt make you eligible) before any service can be given.
so i would just offer them optional or even recommend to anyone who buys a nas 🙂
