Airprint setup
When I try to set up my printer with the Airprint tab it tells me to have Itunes and Adobe reader installed and then refreshed. I have done that, installed most recent firmware, rebooted and that message still comes up. If I push the refresh button, nothing happens. This is on a desktop with Windows 10.

Re: Airprint setup
As a side note, I just had the computer upgraded to Windows 10 from Vista. I was able to use the Airprint function at tht time. Since the upgrade the error message keeps showing even though I istalled Itunes and Adobe Reader

Re: Airprint setup
Update. In reading some past remarks on this I downloaded Bon jour and then when I opened the Airprint in Genie my printer was there! So I checked it and refreshed thinking that now I will be able to print but lo and behold, none of my devices ( Iphone, Ipad) could find my printer! As I said before, it was working fine when I had Vista and now it won't work. So even though it says that my devices will now connect to the printer, they don't. Any suggestions??

Re: Airprint setup
Hi @MaryAnnB,
1. What is the model number and firmware version of your router?
2. Have you tried uninstalling and re-installing the Genie app?
3. Have you tried using another computer that has the Genie app installed?
4. What are the iOS devices that you are trying to use?
5. What is the iOS version of your device?
Regards,
Dexter

Re: Airprint setup
Dexter,
have model N600 WNDR 3400v3
I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, no luck
Have not tried another computer.
Trying to connect to Iphone 6 iOS 10.2.1, haven't upgraded to new version yet. Also trying to connect with an iPad.
I did upgrade the firmware of the router to the latest version
It worked fine when my computer was using Vista, just had it upgraded to Windows 10. The printer shows up in the app fine, and I checked it, but my devices that are connected to the wifi are not finding it.

Re: Airprint setup
Ok, so I set up the printer with my laptop that has Windows 7, and it worked fine! My Iphone found the printer and I was able to print. I even uninstalled the printer and reinstalled but didn't change anything. I can print fine from the computer, and it is listed in the Genie app but by phone can't find it. Guess I'll have to buy an Airprint printer because I don't want to leave my laptop on. Don't know if it's some quirky thing with Windows 10 or what, frustrating!!

Re: Airprint setup
Hi @MaryAnnB,
Please try the following steps and check if it works.
1. Go to Control Panel > User Accounts > Manage Windows Credentials
2. Add a Windows Credential
3. Enter the directions to the router and the router's user name and password. See example below:
\\readyshare
admin
password
4. Click on OK

Re: Airprint setup
I'm sorry Dexter, I don't know what you mean by the "directions to the router".
