Genie app won't connect to OpenDNS
Just tried using parental controls in Genie App but it will never connect to OpenDNS during the setup process.
I have now created two accounts in OpenDNS and the accounts work fine at the OpenDNS website.
But Genie App will not connect to either of them - keep getteing error that password is wrong, even though p/w works fine at OpenDNS site.
Any suggestions?

- JoelMAspirantWell what are we supposed to do if we don't have an iOS or osx device? What is the ETA for the fix. It's kind of false advertising to say that the router had opendns compatibility when it's not working for anyone who uses windows or Android.

I was having the same problem as everyone else trying to log into the parental controls and tried everything in this thread with no luck on my R7000 router. I was messing around and have managed to get mine to work so here is what I did.
I logged into my router through a webpage using the IP address. Under the advanced tab at the top there is a setup wizzard tab on the left. I clicked on this and it gave me the option below.
The Smart Setup Wizard can detect the type of Internet connection that you have. Do you want the Smart Setup Wizard to try and detect the connection type now? Yes No. I want to configure the router myself. I clicked on Yes and then clicked next below this message. It then took a couple of minutes while it was checking my internet settings. Once that was complete it showed my settings and I then clicked next where it went to another page with options to download the genie app and ready share. I unchecked both and clicked next again since I already have these. It then checked my firmware for any upgrades and since mine was up to date I just hit ok and continued on. After that it took me the the registration page for my router as I guess I had never registered it. This page would not take my info so I closed the page and then opened a new webpage and went here and since I didn't have an account I clicked on register here under new product registration. I completed this and then closed out of the pages and then opened up Genie and it allowed me to complete the sign in to opendns and set up the parental controls. I'm not sure if it was just the setup portion that fixed things or if it had anything to do with the registration process so you may not have to worry about the registration part? This worked for me so hopefully it will work for some others.
